Upcoming Webinar: Governing Your Extranet for a Better User Experience

As you can tell by the volume of blogs I’ve been posting on SharePoint governance, it is an extremely hot topic throughout the user community today. Because governance can involve so many pieces of your IT puzzle, it can be difficult at times to ensure that you’re entirely covered.
 
I have the great opportunity to lead a webcast in a three-part series on SharePoint Extranets sponsored by AvePoint, NewsGator, and PointBridge, now a part of Perficient.
 
I’ll be presenting a topic that is near and dear to my heart: Governing Your Extranet for a Better User Experience, taking place at 2pm EST on Wednesday, March 7. Many organizations are focused on ensuring their intranet is meeting the standards set in place by your governance committee – and often, they forget that the extranet needs the same level of governance.
 
If you’re someone who is responsible for – or interested in – driving engagement with individuals outside your organization by using an extranet platform, this session is for you. I’m not focusing heavily on technology here: Instead, I’m going to present a pattern for creating an extranet that will improve user adoption among partners, customers, and others – all while helping meet governance requirements.
